Since back around 1994 DJ Dice had ideas about the music business. Playing music was the type of thing that most interested him. At the young age of 15, he could only build up his collection piece by piece. This meant a long hard fought process was about to take place for Dice to be where he wanted.

In 1996 Dice met one of the pioneers of the DJ game by the name of LuvBug Starski. Primarily, Starski started out handing down a few records from time to time, knowing that Dice had an interest in music. A year or so after, Starski asked Dice to assist him with moving his records and equipment from club to club throughout the Tri- State area. At this point, it most certainly wasn't the pay that Dice got from this pioneer of the game, Dice got the experience that was well needed for any young DJ trying to come up in this business. From clubs like the China Club (NY, NY), Club Mirage (now Exit, Manhattan, NY) to clubs like The New Savoy (Bronx NY). From states ranging from Massachusettes down to North Carolina Dice traveled with the pioneer. From time to time Startski had Dice play a couple of sets as reggae set on a boat ride out of Queens.

From late 1996 to 1998 the stage was set for Dice to create a mark for himself. Dice had to set himself apart from any other DJs around. Dice started off doing small parties for his high school, and playing on his porch for the neighborhood to learn to spread out his music. Dice found a break from an online source direct to a promotional group promoting parties at Club Speed. Dice dropped a live demo off at the club to the team, they approved of the style and mic presence and invited Dice to play once a month @ Club Speed for three months. Dice rocked the club all three times he played. They also had Dice play @ Club Carbon (now Exit). Dice went on to do a multitude of other public parties, clubs, and private events.

Dice has exceptional mic skills to get the crowd motivated and keep them entertained. This is one of the skills Dice learned while on the road with Starski on the NY club scene. The mic skills may be influenced, but the cutting, scratching, and mixing were all self-taught and came with hard work, practice, and dedication to "the game."

Since 2000, Dice has had the opportunity to play in most clubs that were open to new DJs. This is the basic time line of where you hear or see Dice doing his thing. Dice also has plans to do major radio and take this full time as music is his life!
